STOGUMBER Cricket Club are hosting a family day on Saturday, August 17, to welcome villagers and those from the local area.

The event will include 'The George Tuckfield Trophy', a friendly cricket match to be held in memory of one of Stogumber Cricket Club's most treasured members!

Attendees will be warmly welcomed to tog umber’s clubhouse with bar, refreshments and beautiful scenery.

Meanwhile, Stogumber’s cricket team are having an outstanding season in Division Three of the West Somerset League.

They are top of the division and, with only two matches remaining, have a sixty-three point lead over second placed Sampford Arundel.
