AL GRIFFITHS has beaten Tom Hill in Minehead Bowling Club’s men’s singles final which was staged last weekend.
It was the first of two weekends of finals for the West Somerset club.

In the draws pairs competition, Colin Hirons and Lee Ross beat Tom Hill and Robin Auster in the final.
In the ladies singles final, Sue Cox was victorious against Sara Rew..
Tom Hill also appeared in the handicap final where he beat Ian Hayes to take the trophy.
The finals have all been played in the best of spirits.
