WELLINGTON Associatioin Football Club Abilities held two matches on Sunday as part of their fundraising for much-needed kit and equipment.

The adults played Sainsburys Online while the youth players took on the club's Under 13s. Both games were played on the 3G pitch at Court Fields School and there was also a tombola.

Wellington AFC Abilities – twice winners of Somerset FA’s Disability Club of the Year award – are currently attempting to raise £1,000.

The Wellington club runs more than 30 teams, which also include senior men’s and women’s sides plus teams who play in the Taunton & District Youth Football League. They also field teams who play in the Somerset Girls Football League.
