There will be a number of road closures across West Somerset this month. See the full details in this week's West Somerset Free Press. 

Below are the latest closures declared by Somerset County Council:

Leeford Road in the parish of Upton is set to close this month. The closure will begin on March 23 at 7.30am and end at 6pm on the same day. The closure will run from from the junction with the B3190 Village Hall in an easterly direction for 1376 metres.

Brook Street in the parish of Stogumber will close this month. The closure will begin on March 31 and last until April 6. The closure will begin on Brook Street from the junction with Shute Street, to the junction with High Street. Works will take place between 9am and 5.30pm.

King Edward Road in the parish of Minehead will be closed this month. The closure will begin on March 23 ad last until March 31. The closure start on King Edward Road from the junction with Ponsford Road and travel in a westerly direction for 50 metres. Works will take place between the hours of 7am and 5pm.

Escott Lane in the parish of Stogumber will be closed this month. The closure will begin on March 20 and last until March 24. The closure will begin along Escott Lane from a point 555 metres north of the junction with Stogumber to Beech Tree Cross.

Parsons Street in the parish of Porlock will be closed this month. The closure will begin on March 21 and last until March 24. The closure will start along Parsons Street from a point 41 metres north from the junction with Doverhay.

Hayman Road in the parish of Minehead will be closed next month. The closure will begin on April 3 and last until April 6. The closure will start from the junction from Watery Lane and travel east for 60 metres. Works will be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm.

Thorne Lane and Horsecombe Lane in the parish of Cutcombe will be closed next month. The closure will begin on April 5 at 9.30am and conclude by 3.30 later the same day. The closure will begin on Thorne Lane from the junction with Older Lane and travel West for 2100 metres.
