FRESH from meeting the Princess of Wales during a Royal carol service in Westminster Abbey, Minehead violinist Anthony Knight has completed a short tour of the Baltic states of Latvia and Lithuania.

Anthony, aged 17, who attends Taunton School, has been touring European cities to raise funds for the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Appeal and UNICEF’s work with children from war torn areas.

Since starting a year ago he has raised more than £20,000, which led to his invitation to meet the Princess of Wales earlier this month.

His latest performances were in the lobby lounge of the Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga, and the Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius.
