THREE fire crews from Nether Stowey and Bridgwater tackled a blaze which destroyed a kitchen and damaged the rest of a home near Over Stowey on Monday (April 15).

They were called at about 7 pm and used breathing apparatus, hose reel and safety jets, small tools, and a triple extension ladder to put out the fire, which started accidentally.
