POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a car crashed into a house on a main road through Williton on Tuesday afternoon (July 9).
A white BMW hit the front of a house in High Street immediately after passing over a roundabout at the junction of the A39 and A358.
A man who was driving the vehicle was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, with injuries which were not thought to be life-threatening or life changing.
The impact dislodged a large area of render on the front of the terraced property and damaged a front window.
The accident, which happened at about 1 pm, blocked part of the road for several hours and caused long queues of traffic.
An Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesperson said: “If you were in the area and witnessed the collision, please contact us on 101 and quote reference 5224178452.”
Police said no arrests had been made.
