CHARITY Elliot’s Touch is inviting Watchet locals to Whitehall for the Christmas lights switch-on this Saturday, November 30.

Father Christmas and Valerie Norman will be turning on the lights at 5.15pm which will be accompanied by music from the West Somerset Brass Band followed by the Watchet Community Choir. There will also be a stall hosted by King’s Templar School.

Mince pies, hot chocolate and Christmas tombola prizes will be on offer, with maps of the town’s Christmas light displays available on the night.

The evening is organised by Elliot’s Touch, a not-for-profit raising money to help fund the research of and raise awareness for the cardiovascular disease, cardiomyopathy, and mitochondria disease.

Visitors are invited to enjoy the switch-on from 5pm on Saturday, November 30.
