MINEHEAD Choral and District Society are set to bring the great masterpieces of Mozart and Rossini to West Somerset this April.
Four soloists, soprano Stephanie Berner, alto Helena Payne, baritone Jamie Rock and tenor Lawrence Thackery will be performing Mozart’s Requiem and Rossini’s Stabat Mater next month at Minehead’s Methodist Church.
The musicians will be conducted by Marcus Capel, led by Mary Eade with accompaniment from the Somerset-based orchestra, the Taunton Sinfonietta.
The concert will take place on Saturday, April 5 from 7.30pm at the Minehead Methodist Church. Tickets cost £15, or £5 for students, and can be purchased from the Regal Theatre Box Office or on the door.
