THE Minehead Regal Theatre will be screening a live broadcast of the Royal Ballet’s Swan Lake on Thursday, February 27 at 7.15pm.
In classical ballet's most powerful tale of love, treachery and forgiveness, Prince Siegfried chances upon a flock of swans while out hunting. When one of the swans turns into a beautiful woman, Odette, he is enraptured, but she is under a spell that holds her captive. Doomed to remain a swan forever, Odette has but one way to break the sorcerer's spell.
Tickets cost £15.50, £14 for Film Society members/Regal Theatre Friends, £13 for Students/ES40s, and £10 for under 14s and can be purchased online or at the Regal box office.
The running time is 210 minutes, including two intervals.
