PORLOCK Horticultural and Crafts Society is holding its annual summer show in the village hall on Saturday afternoon (July 20).
The show opens at 2 pm and will close with the presentation of cups and trophies at 4.30 pm.
Secretary Anna Toeman said there were flower classes including roses, sweet peas, hydrangeas, herbaceous perennials, and lots of seasonal colour.
Ms Toeman said other classes included vegetables, fruit, decorative floral arrangements with an Olympics theme, handicrafts, photographs, homemade drink, and children’s creative entries.
There would also be plants for sale, a book stall, a raffle with prizes given by local businesses, and homemade refreshments.
Entrance to the show will be £2, but it is free for society members and children.
