LOVERS of the ‘swinging 60s’ can relive those days of timeless songs with The Upbeat Beatles at The Regal Theatre, in Minehead, on Friday, April 26.
Performing to sell out venues for more than 20 years, the band is said to have more than earned their reputation as the finest tribute to the music of the Beatles.
Paying homage to what is arguably the greatest band in history, The Upbeat Beatles takes the audience through the whole of the Beatles’ career; from the early days of ‘Beatlemania’ (She Loves You, I Want To Hold Your Hand) across the Atlantic to conquer the USA (Help!, Ticket To Ride), through the ‘Summer of Love’ and psychedelia (Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Strawberry Fields Forever) then finally down the ‘Long and Winding Road’ to the end of the 1960’s, for the Beatles’ final live performance as a group (Get Back, Come Together).
Tickets cost £22 for adults, £20 for Regal Friends £20.00 and £20 for students/ES40s.
The two-hour show will boast authentic instruments, costume changes, multimedia, and an ensemble of professional musicians with West End experience.
The Regal Theatre Box Office is open 9.30am to 12.00pm Monday-Saturday, on 01643 706430, or online at https://www.regalboxoffice.co.uk/
