A CHARITY auction is being held in Holford Village Hall on Saturday (June 29) to raise funds for St Mary the Virgin Church.

Residents who want to donate any items for sale are being asked to email photographs of them with a brief description and starting bids or reserve price, to Erl and Mo Plomgren at [email protected].

Items should be taken to the hall by 5pm to allow for setting up the display before the auction, which will run from 7pm to 10pm, with £3 entry including a glass of wine or fruit juice and ‘nibbles’.

A spokesperson said: “We would be grateful for good quality pieces - this is not a table top or jumble sale.
