Headlining on the festival’s solar-powered stage were crowd favourites Drop in the Ocean, surf rockers Los Dedos, and folk duo Box Set, captivating festival-goers with their energy-packed performances against the stunning coastal backdrop.
The buzzing atmosphere was fuelled by a wide range of street food vendors and the festival’s main bar, sponsored by Sandford Orchards.
Festival-goers also enjoyed Westcountry-made cider while soaking in the sights and sounds of the day.
Among attractions were live art demonstrations by street artists Blam, Mark Doyle, and Charlie McFarley, arts and crafts activities from Wild Wellies Forest School and African drumming with Patrice Naiambana.
On the beach, there were story-telling sessions and sand artist Chris Oakey created a giant wish sculpture.
A wellbeing tent featured gong baths, yoga, and breathwork sessions, mindfulness, massage, and meditation, and artists from Watchet East Quay ran workshops throughout the day.
Another popular attraction was a ‘busk station’ featuring local buskers, entertainers, and live music acts.
Thrilling performances by the Westcountry-based Higher Beings Circus featured aerialists, tightrope walkers, and acrobats, and jaw-dropping mountain bike stunts from international trail-bike star and Saltrock ambassador Andrei Burton kept audiences on the edge of their seats.
“From start to finish, the festival buzzed with excitement,” said event manager Zara Aitken.
“It was an incredible day, bringing people together to celebrate music, art and creativity.
“We are thrilled with how much the community has embraced the event.
“Having Saltrock, Sandford Orchards, and Minehead Town Council on board as sponsors has really enabled us to up our game this year, as well as the incredible support from organisations like Minehead Rotary Club and Homestart, and the team of volunteers.
“Organised by the Minehead and Coast Development Trust, the festival continues to be a major highlight in the community calendar, thanks to funding support from the National Lottery Community Fund, People’s Postcode Lottery, Hinkley Point Small Grants Programme, and Minehead Town Council.”
