RANSCOMBE Road, Wootton Courtenay, will be closed between 8.30 am and 3.30 pm daily on November 26, 27, and 28, while Openreach renews a pole.

KIER will be constructing new pedestrian posts or rails in Dunkery Hill Road, Cutcombe, on behalf of Somerset Highways, causing the road to be closed between 8 am and 5 pm daily from December 9 to 13.

A NEW duct being laid by Openreach in Bossington Lane, Porlock, will see the road shut for three days from November 27 to 29.

OPENREACH is to renew a pole in the St Audries to Doniford road, in West Quantoxhead parish, on November 25, resulting in the road closing for six hours from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm.

POLE replacement works by Openreach will cause the closure of Dashwoods Lane, Bicknoller, between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm on November 25 and 26.

CABLING works in Dunkery Road, Cutcombe, to be carried out by Openreach on November 28 will see a six-hour rod closure between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm.

LEIGH Lane to Water Lane, Stogumber, will be closed on November 28 and 29 from 8 am to 6 pm daily while Barr Engineering Services installs a pole on behalf of Airband Community Internet.

SOMERSET Council has published an order extinguishing the restricted byway WL23/57 in Stogursey parish and asked for any representations or objections to be sent to the authority’s Taunton headquarters in writing by January 3, 2025.
