WORK by Wessex Water to install a stop tap in Sparrows Lane, in Withypool and Hawkridge, will mean the closure of the road for three days from June 10 to 12, inclusive.

OPENREACH will be replacing poles in Roebuck Gate Lane, Crowcombe, between 8.30 am and 3.30 pm on June 28, resulting in a temporary closure of the road.

BLENHEIM Road, Minehead, will be shut for five days from June 24 to 28 while Wessex Water installs a new connection.

A TEMPORARY 30 mph speed limit will be in place on the A39 through West Quantoxhead and East Quantoxhead when indicated by traffic signs between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm on June 12 while Openreach carries out pole testing works.

TRAFFIC on the A358 in High Street, Williton, will be placed under a temporary 10 mph speed restriction when indicated by signage between June 10 and 14 as National Grid replaces decayed poles between 6.30 pm and 6 am nightly.

UTILITY Services is replacing a pole on the Oldways End to Tuckers Moor Cross road, in Brushford, on June 25 and 26, which will cause the daily closure of the road between 8 am and 5 pm.

A SIXTEEN-hour closure of Half Acre, Williton, has been approved between 8 am and midnight on June 12 for National Grid to carry out pole replacement and reconductoring work.

VEHICLES will be stopped from using stretches of the Simonsbath to Challacombe and Exmouth to Simonsbath roads, on Exmoor, between 8.30 am and 5 pm daily from June 10 to 13 to allow Tom Stevens Forestry to carry our urgent tree works for Exmoor Forest Farms.

WESSEX Water will close Great House Street and the Willow View and Willow Bank to Timberscombe Quarry road for 50 days from June 24 to August 12 while it replaces a water main.

POLE replacement works by Openreach are needed in Brook Street, Minehead, which will see the road closed from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm on June 25.

EXMOOR National Park Authority has received planning application 6/29/24/003LB for listed building consent for work on Myrtle Cottage, Bossington, which can be viewed at its Dulverton headquarters and also in West Somerset House, Williton.
