SANDRA Nicholson, who has worked at Roadchef’s Sedgemoor M5 southbound service station for 25 years, has been honoured with a long service award for her dedication. 

Richard Tindale, Roadchef’s COO, presented the award to Sandra, who has been a key team member since June 1999. 

Known for her expertise in WHSmith, technical skills, and warm customer service, Sandra’s positive attitude and unwavering smile has made her a beloved fixture at Sedgemoor southbound for a quarter of a century.

Sandra said: “I am thrilled to receive the Long Service Award. The 25 years I have worked for Roadchef have been fantastic.”

“The support from everyone has been second to none, and it’s wonderful to be part of a company that regards its staff so highly and looks after every single employee.

“I look forward to many more enjoyable years at Roadchef.”

Outside of work in her private life, Sandra is the lady president of Burnham-on-Sea Moose Lodge 123 Ladies Circle.

Here she has organised charity events and raised hundreds of pounds for local causes through her afternoon teas and ploughman’s lunches.
