MORE than 180 people visited Winsford to view 11 gardens opened by residents to raise £2,120 for St Margaret’s Hospice.

The rain eased up and the visitors, who travelled from as far as Torquay, Poole, Ilfracombe, Taunton, and Wootton Courtenay, saw gardens ranging from the quintessential cottage garden with roses around the door to wild and natural, small and large, manicured and untamed.
