AN award-winning start-up Exmoor business has launched a series of corporate candle workshops led by founding director Tracey Tripp.
Tracey started her artisanal candle company Tripps of Somerset two years ago after several years of making candles as a hobby.
She has since grown the business from her home in Withiel Florey and earlier this year clinched a partnership with The Range Marketplace.
Now, Tracey is offering corporate workshops and comprehensive classes on making and selling candles.
They are designed to share her extensive knowledge of candle-making and to help others excel in the business of creating and selling candles.
Tracey said: “I want to be able to share all my knowledge, but candle safety is crucial.
“I love helping others and developing their skills.
“To me, there is no competition.
“I am providing one-to-one business classes and workshops to enable those looking to start their candle journey or to incorporate candle-making into their existing business, such as salons or Airbnb.”
She said the corporate workshops would be of particular interest to businesses looking to encourage more people into their offices.
Tracey said: “These engaging and creative sessions not only enhance team building and morale but also offer a unique and relaxing way for employees to connect and rejuvenate.
“Each person attending will have fun and make their very own candle to use.”
The workshops cover everything from the basics of candle-making to advanced techniques, as well as essential business strategies for successfully marketing and selling candles.
“I believe in fostering a community where everybody can succeed,” said Tracey.
“Seeing others excel in their candle-making business brings me great joy.
“These classes are not just about learning a craft, but about empowering individuals to thrive in their own businesses.”
Having suffered a serious accident as a teenager which left her in a wheelchair for some time and thinking she had lost her sense of smell forever, each candle is not just a product for Tracey but a testament to the enduring spirit of gifting and the transformative power of self-care.
