SHANE Coxhead’s score of 112 helped Allsorts maintain their 100 per cent start to the season in the Premier Division of the Watchet & District Skittles League with a 55-pin away win over Q C Guys whose Archie Walsh and Graham Muckersie scored 94.

Defending champions Bell All Stars had Andy Milton in good form, hitting 118 in their 85-pin success against Castaways, Mike Lane top with 96.

Performance of the week belongs to White Horse Stallions’ Dan Godfrey whose 133 helped them to their first points of the season in their 15 pin away win over Bottoms Up, for whom Chris Briggs hit 112, and Tyrone Ash with 107 eased Three Ferrets to a narrow 18 pin home win over Rebels whose Nev Weir scored 109.

A 108 from Phoenix Knights’ Eben Harding led them to their first win of the season with a 17 pin away success over Jack, for whom Steve Bosley scored 107.

In Division A, Has Beens made it three wins out of three after Mark Clausen with 112 saw them record a 31 pin home victory against Railway Steamers, Cam Munro hitting 101, while Barn Owls’ George Pike 102 saw them slip to their first defeat away to Combwich Otters who had Lee Jones top of the alley with 117. 

Williton Club went down by 73 pins in their away match with Outsiders whose Terry Hayes knocked 111 and Alan Bland 98 for the Club. With Hungerford Harriers withdrawing from the League their match with Dungbeetles was void.

In Division B, Wyndham Pinheads have maximum points after three games with Andy Pegg hitting 99 as they overcame Badgers by 22 pins Garry Keogh top of the alley with 106.

Footy Fockers (Gavin Badger 112) played their first game of the season picking up the points with a 38 pin home win over Dizzy’s Boys whose Pete Mather hit 102.
