WATCHET Skittles League premier division champions Bell All Stars led by Matt Robinson (116) completed the double over newly promoted White Horse Stallions by 74 pins with skipper Malcolm Bennett and Zak Rexworthy both scoring 95.

A match winning 128 from Shane Coxhead gave Allsorts a 21 pin away success over Phoenix Knights captain Chris Pople leading their scoring with 113.

There were home wins for Q C Guys whose Archie Walsh hit 106 as they defeated Rebels by 14 pins, Brad Lock top of the alley with 117 and 115 from Brandon Walsh led Bottoms Up to a 8 pin victory against Jack whose Stephen Bosley scored 113. Steve Duck and Lewis Penfold with 102 led Castaways to a 36 pin home success over Three Ferrets, Chris Adams knocking 112.

In Division A, Phil Perkins with 104 helped Railway Steamers complete the double with an 8 pin win over Williton Club despite a knock of 109 from Dan Bulpin and Steve Allen with 105 topped the alley for Has Beens in their 28 pin success over Dungbeetles whose Phil Hayes hit 105.

Barn Owls take the bragging rights after George Pike hit 107 in the match with Outsiders whose Terry Hayes hit 103. Hungerford Harriers’ match with Combwich Otters was cancelled due to Harriers not raising a side.

In Division B Chris Williams with 92 led Wyndham Warriors to a 17 pin victory against Quantock Stags whose Nigel Thomas hit 95 while Ken Ware 100 made it two wins out of two for Haddon Hillbillies as they ran out 16 pin winners against Rams, Mike Davis scoring 92. John Jones with a top of the alley 114 guided Dizzy’s Boys to a 11 pin win over Badgers who had Brandon Johnson felling 107 and Wyndham Pinheads made it maximum points with a 21 victory over Legion Specials.
