MINEHEAD are involved in another must-win game when they play at home to Chard in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier Cricket League on Saturday, June 29 (12.00).

Minehead are currently bottom of the table, having lost seven of their eight matches, the latest being away to Taunton last Saturday where they went down by nine wickets.

Chard have won three of their eight matches and put up a spirited fight before losing by only 18 runs at home to second placed Temple Cloud last weekend.

Chard sit just two positions above The Pirates in the league table, and a Minehead win would take them one step closer to moving out of the relegation places.

All support is welcome at the club throughout the day where the bar opens at 1pm. There is Live Music and a BBQ after the game, as the club welcome local band Evolution who will be playing a number of rock & pop covers for all to enjoy. Free entry, live music beginning at 7pm, members and non-members welcome! 

In other games in the Somerset Division, leaders Bridgwater are away to Frome while Temple Cloud play at home to Taunton who are lying fourth in the table.
