MINEHEAD, hammered by Yeovil in their opening game of the season, will be looking for a much improved display when they play at home to Wembdon in the Somerset Division of the West of England Premier Cricket League this afternoon (Sat).

Minehead, captained again this season by Dan Bowditch, crashed to a ten-wicket home defeat against Yeovil after being bowled out for 57. The innings began with a run-out on 14 and Minehead never recovered.

The game gets underway at 12 noon where all support will be especially welcome. Win, lose or draw, there will be a big night of entertainment as The Mighty Rough Justice perform at close of play, from 7p.m. til late.
