DULVERTON Town travelled to Bridgwater with only 10 men after a mysterious virus caused four players to pull out at the last minute - but still managed a 1-1 draw against Albion in Division Two of the Saturday League.

Despite being a man down Dulverton controlled the first half and skipper Dave Kelland put them deservedly into a 1-0 lead with a rocket of a free kick which the keeper couldn’t keep out.

Town were not sitting back and a few half chances were missed early in the second half to put the game to bed. The player numbers were levelled up after 75 minutes with two yellows and a red for an Albion player.

Just before the end a cross into the box by Albion, saw the ball hit a stray arm from a Town player and a penalty was awarded. Keeper Hooper couldn’t quite get his hand to it and Albion equalised with the last kick of the game.
