MINEHEAD have a rearranged home game against bottom side Ashcott in the first division of the Uhlsport Somerset County Football League on Saturday, December 14 (2p.m.).

Minehead are lying fifth in the table, nine points behind leaders Congresbury but have two games in hand.

Ashcott, however, have played 13 matches and have yet to pick up a point. They are six points adrift at the bottom of the table.

“Although they are struggling it does not mean we will not be treating them seriously,” said Minehead boss Craig Carr.

Former Taunton Town defender George Painter has recovered from injury and will be back in the squad while Guy Burns may be in the starting line-up after being substitute in the last match.

Carr has revealed that he is in the process of strengthening the squad with two new signings and will complete the paperwork later this week. However they will not be involved in Saturday’s game.
