WATCHET Town Ladies travelled to Combe St Nicholas for their last match of the season in Division Three South of the Somerset Women’s League, hoping to improve on previous two visits.

The visitors, who included Morgan Jones making her debut, produced a great team effort and at the end of hard fought game Combe edged victory 3-2

Morgan Jones bagged player of the match, but everyone gave their all. Watchet captain Abbie Rendell said:" It’s been an honour to captain Watchet in our first season, during which we have all improved individually and as a team. Although the league games are complete, this is just the beginning of the journey."
