WATCHET Town came from behind to win 4-1 at the Memorial Ground to complete a Uhlsport Somerset County League Division One double over relegation-threatened Combe St Nicholas as they extended their unbeaten run to 10 matches.
The Red and Blacks again had to rely on an improved second half showing after going in level at the interval.
Against opponents making their first visit to Watchet the home side did not help their own cause by missing early chances.
Billy Jones headed a free kick over the bar but it was not a major surprise when Combe took the lead following some slack defending.
This stirred the Red & Blacks a little and within 10 minutes they were back on level terms when Brandon Walsh won possession near halfway before releasing Adam Jefferies with a through pass which the forward strode onto beyond the last defender to drill a low shot past the advancing keeper with his left foot.
It was mainly one-way traffic now and despite Charley Clausen being sin-binned Watchet made it 3-1. Once back to a full quota of 11 players the Red & Blacks made absolutely sure of all three points with a 4th goal.
