MINEHEAD ladies tennis team have started their matches in the North Somerset First Division .

The players Caroline Bayley, Theresa Finglas, Clare Pound , Judy Kay , Katherine Tilke, have all played great tennis, travelling to Clevedon, winning one rubber, again away to Wells, Clare and Theresa got to a tiebreak .

The team would like to thank Corinne Rees who played in the team when players were absent. The closest match at home to Wedmore  Clare and Kat, playing first pair against Nicki and Claire, was tough tennis, the first pair winning all four sets. Caroline and Judy took the second rubber in three sets two tiebreakers giving Minehead two valuable points.
