GEORGE Wagstaff scored nett 68 to win Division One in the Saturday Medal Competition at Oake Manor Golf Club. Nathan Pepperell came second with nett 69 and Steven Barham was third, also with nett 69.

Thomas Stuart won Division Two with nett 68, David Stark was second with nett 69 and Paul Rich was third, also with nett 69.

Nicholas Ford won the Kingfisher Cup in the Sunday Stableford Competition. He won Division Two with a score of 41 points, James Thomas came second with 38 points and James McAuley was third, also with nett 38. John Wall won Division One, scoring 41 points but losing out on the trophy on countback. Paul Hadley was second, also with 41 points, and Louis Kraucamp third, with 39 points.

Ladies competition secretary Amanda Mather won the Ladies Sunday Medal Competition, scoring nett 67, Karen Potter was second, also with nett 67, and Kathy Salway was third, with nett 69.

Club captain Dave Kinnear won the Seniors' Roger Clark Trophy on Monday. Dave scored an excellent 47 points in Division One, three shots clear of second placed Gary Jackson with 44 points and club vice-captain Charles St George came third with 39 points. Kenneth Pitcher was Division Two, with 42 points, John Stinchcombe came second with 40 points and Ian Hockey was third with 39 points.

Ladies captain Pam Kinnear won the Ladies Tuesday Medal Competition with nett 68, Sue Medicott was second in Division Two, also with nett 68, and Sally Jackson was third with nett 70. Pam Akers won Division One, scoring nett 73, Ladies vice captain Liz How ws second, also with nett 73, and Cathy Sheppard was third with nett 75.
