THE Division A title play off in the Watchet Skittles League was played at the Bell Inn between Rebels and White Horse Stalions and produced a keenly fought contest with never more than six pins between them in the whole match, writes Alan Bulpin.
Rebels held a three-pin advantage at half time but a full time score of 100 from Rebels' Wayne Gregory led them to a six pin victory.
Chris Weetch finished top of the alley for the Stallions with 109. Both sides will play Premier League skittles next season.
In the preliminary round of the Alan Clark Cup, Barrie Jones and Adam Taplin (both 112) eased Bell All Stars into the last 16 with a win over Badgers.
