MINEHEAD Barbarians and Midsomer Norton clash in a top of the table match in Somerset Two South at Ellicombe Road on Saturday, November 30 (2.30).

Leaders Midsomer Norton have been piling up the points this season, scoring more than 100 points in three of their games.

Minehead’s head coach Mick Orton said: “We’re aware of what we have to do. We have to play our own brand of rugby and focus on ourselves, not them. We will use our back line as much as we can.”

Former skipper and stand-off Joel Lynch continues his comeback after being sidelined for a long time.

Minehead 2nd XV, also back in action after a fortnight’s break, play away to Weston III in Counties Four Somerset South. Minehead are lying fourth and Weston seventh.

WIVELISCOMBE also return after a blank Saturday when they play away to Redruth 2nd XV in Counties One Western West. Wiveliscombe are fourth in the table with six wins from nine fixtures while Redruth are two places below them, having won five of nine matches.

Wiveliscombe 2nd XV, who top Counties Four Somerset South with a 100 per cent record after seven games, are home to second-placed Burnham on Sea 2nd XV in the division's Match of the Day.
