PREMIER division champions Bell All Stars and QC Guys will be fighting it out in the final of Watchet & District Skittles League’s Alan Clark Cup next week.
It will be played at Williton Social Club on Tuesday, May 7.
Bell All Stars swept into the final by beating Has Beens by 58 pins with Andy Trunks hitting a top of the alley 113. Mark Clausen knocked 101 for the losers. QC Guys were equally impressive in winning by 53 pins against Barns Owls with Mark Willis scoring a fine 127. George Pike was top scorer for the Owls with 114.
Both All Stars and QC Guys will be looking to take their good form through to the final. The Guys inflicted a 33-pin defeat on Allsorts in the quarter-finals with Michael Stout leading his side to victory with 109, while All Stars won their match in the last eight with a 29-pin success against Railway Steamers who put up a spirited fight
