IT WAS an action packed weekend and a memorable one for Wiveliscombe Rugby Club’s Under 16s.

Friday evening saw the youngsters travel to Taunton RFC who kindly hosted a match under their floodlights. It was a great experience followed by refreshments in the club and some fancy dress fun thrown in! Saturday evening was presentation night which was a celebration of not only the end of the season but also six years of age grade rugby. Awards went to Jack H - Most Improved, Jack L - Players Players and Luke B -Coaches Player.  Choosing the winners was not an easy decision. A big congratulations goes to the whole squad for their efforts this season. The lads were lucky enough to be joined by Exeter Chiefs player Tommy Wyatt, who kindly did a Q&A session and presented each member of the squad with the brand new Wiveliscombe RFC Colts tie. The club looks forward to seeing them being worn by the Colts next season.
