THE Deanery Singers will be performing The Passion of Christ, by English composer Arthur Somervell, to begin the journey through Holy Week for worshippers in St Andrew’s Church, Stogursey.

The singers, who are drawn from across the Quantock Deanery and beyond, will be singing in the church from 6.30 pm on Monday, April 14.

Everybody is invited to join the congregation for the service, which will see a retiring collection in aid of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, which is this year’s Deanery Mission charity project, and the Stroke Association.

The Deanery is organising a number of charity events this summer in aid of the air ambulance and is also raising funds to enable CPR and defibrillator training in the community.
