VILLAGERS in Dunster are being offered an opportunity to rock the night away at a Minnie Hates the Hoover fund-raising gig in the Tithe Barn.

The performance on August 11 will raise money to help put on the first of the new Dunster Winter Festival events on December 7 and 8 this year.

Minnie Hates The Hoover will be presenting music through the ages from 6 pm to 9 pm with tickets for the gig priced at £10 for adults and £5 for under-16s.

A bar will be open and food available, including pulled pork rolls and a vegetarian option, run by Archer Events.

The tickets are available online at www.dunsterwinterfestival.co.uk and also on the door until 6.15 pm.
