THE fantastic Big Weekenders events are returning to Butlins at Minehead in September and will recreate some amazing musical memories for party-goers.

Organisers are planning something for everyone during the September weekends with music spanning the decades.

The three-night events are entitled From Ultimate 80s, 90s Reloaded, We Love the 70s and We Love Ibiza.

The music extravaganzas will feature a number of well-known acts and promise to be a smash-hit with the adult-only audiences.

We Love The 70s weekend from September 6 will feature music from the likes of Hot Chocolate, Bay City Rollers and Slade.

One of the highlights will be the appearance of founding member, guitarist Stuart 'Woody' Wood, who has formed a group of talented musicians who embody the essence of the Bay City Rollers - breathing new life into classic hits for the tartan-clad fans. 

The Ultimate 80s event from September 13 will feature Peter Cox from Go West, Black Lace, Haircut 100 and From The Jam. Singer-songwriter Peter Cox was best-known as the lead vocalist of English pop duo Go West who burst onto the music scene in 1985 with a number of successful singles including We Close Our Eyes, Call Me, Goodbye Girl and Don't Look Down.

The 90s Reloaded weekend from September 20 will see Claire Richards, DJ Sash, Eternal and 911 heading for Minehead.

Singer Claire Richards was a member of the pop group Steps who have sold over 22 million records worldwide since first forming in 1997 with a string of smash-hit chart-topping singles.

Eternal were a successful 1990s girl band who had a number of Top Ten hits in the UK charts.

The We Love Ibiza weekend will be held from September 27 and will feature Nathan Dawe, Judge Jules, Lovely Laura and Ben Santiago.

People visiting Butlins for the weekends will also be able to enjoy a number of tribute acts, comedy clubs, silent discos and other fun activities.
