FIREFIGHTERS from Minehead were called to a car which was destroyed by a fire on Blue Anchor sea front in the early hours of Wednesday (July 25).

A Range Rover caught alight at about 1.45 am and the fire crew used breathing apparatus and water and foam jets to put out the blaze but could not save the vehicle. The cause was accidental.
