TOWN councillors in Minehead have signed a three-year deal to bring back a popular food festival from next year.
The deal with eat:Festivals starts next April after residents expressed disappointment over its 2024 absence.
The free-to-attend eat:Minehead festival will now be held annually in The Avenue until 2027.
It showcases a diverse range of local producers and products, bringing vibrancy and flavour to the heart of Minehead.
Minehead Mayor Cllr Craig Palmer said: “We are thrilled to welcome back eat:Festivals to the town.
“The festival is clearly well received in Minehead and it now returns after popular demand.
“This event will be another date of family fun on an ever-increasing calendar of town council-supported events in Minehead.”
Festival spokeswoman Sarah Milner Simonds said: “We are thrilled to be returning to Minehead and signing a new three-year agreement with the council.
“Visitors to eat:Minehead have always been so positive and welcoming.”
