A COMMUNITY clear up session is being held in Dunster on Saturday (March 22) as part of Keep Britain Tidy’s ‘Great British Spring Clean’.

Saturday’s meet is organised by Plastic Free Exmoor, which wants volunteers to attend the village’s Exmoor National Park Centre by 10.30 am, when the 90-minute exercise will start.

A spokesperson said: “Litter pickers and collecting bags will be provided, but please bring along a pair of old gloves to wear.”

Any children under 16 years old will need to be accompanied by an adult, and all the youngsters taking part will receive a Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) ‘Million Mile Clean’ certificate.

SAS aims to rally 100,000 volunteers each year to clean 10 miles of blue, green, or open space.
