AN extension until March 25, 2025, at the latest has been granted for a temporary traffic regulation order banning the use of part of the Exmoor public bridleway WL6/17 because of the danger to the public from building works.

EXMOOR National Park Authority has received planning applications 6/10/24/015LB for work at 4 The Ball, Dunster, and 6/10/24/016LB for the installation of a gas mains connection in Church Street, Dunster, the details of which can be viewed at the authority’s headquarters in Dulverton or on its website.

WESSEX Water will replace a frame and cover in Church Street, Dunster, on October 3 between 7 pm and 11 pm which will result in the road being closed during those hours.

POLE replacement works by Openreach will see Priory Green, Dunster, closed for six hours from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm on October 2.

A SERVICE connection to be installed by Openreach in Church Path, Minehead, means the road will be closed on October 3 between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm.

POLING work by Openreach will cause the closure of Summerway, Cutcombe, from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm on October 14.

VICARAGE Road, Carhampton, will be closed on October 3 between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm while Openreach replaces a pole.

TRAFFIC will be banned from using Malmsmead Bridge and the road to Oare to allow Openreach to replace a pole on October 3 between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm.

NATIONAL Grid will be changing and erecting poles in Old Cleeve on the Minehead to Williton road and in Huish Lane, resulting in traffic being banned for 10 nights between 7 pm and 6 am from October 15 to 25.
