TOWN councillors have given their support to Wiveliscombe Tennis Club plans for three new LED floodlights on 20 feet high columns and upgrading of three existing ones for its Recreation Ground courts.

Public consultation ran to June 7, although comments can still be submitted to Somerset Council, which has set itself a July 8 deadline to determine the club’s planning application.
