MINEHEAD & West Somerset Golf Club Seniors staged a Bowmaker, which saw nine teams of three competing in a high scoring event. The winners Roger Read, John Burrow and Mike Kelly accumulated 87 points, which was due in part to John Burrow who managed a hole in one on the 4th,

Second were Mark Ruttley, Steve Woodbury and Tony Connolly with 80, ahead on countback from Chris Durman, Tim Tennant and Trevor Stephens.

The Seniors played a white, yellow, red Stableford. A good entry saw John Burrow continue his excellent form to finish first with 41 points. In second position with 40 points was Tim Tennant with Sandy Lyons (39) taking third place on countback.
