MINEHEAD Cricket Club brought the curtain down on another summer when they held their End of Season Dinner and Presentation Night at Minehead Barbarians Rugby Club which was attended by over 80 players and their guests.
Following a lovely roast dinner and dessert that was enjoyed by all and for which everyone at MCC would like to thank Becky and the rest of the crew at MBRFC, the presentations were made as follows:
First XI - Dan Bowditch, Second XI - Andrew Stevens and A XI - Renjeesh Krishnan.
The Performance of the year went to Braden Taylor who claimed four wickets for 15 runs to help Minehead First XI beat Frome away.
Logan Harrison, Ben Cobb, Josh Dyer and Harry Swann were all presented with their MCC caps for making their first senior appearances.
First XI captain Dan Bowditch said: “From First XI point of view it has been a difficult season on the pitch, with just one win from 18, but it has been one of the most enjoyable off it. The club is thriving socially and events like the end of season dinner just prove what a special club we have at Minehead.”
