SEVEN goals, six different goal scorers and a clean sheet were the outcome from a fine all-round performance by Porlock Ladies in a 10-a-side match against Crewkerne in Division Three South of the Somerset Women’s Football League.

An early corner saw the rebound fall to Georgia who fired an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net.

The second goal came courtesy of Jess, whose shot proved too powerful for the keeper.

Two more goals came before halftime, both from Liz, one from the penalty spot.

The second half also saw Porlock score early from a corner, this time Lauren bravely heading in a perfectly placed delivery from Aimee.

On 80 minutes Sarah was on the receiving end of a great through ball which she carried confidently into the box, and was rewarded for her willingness to keep trying by a well taken goal.

Further celebrations came near the end when Chloe also scored her first of the season, once again being in the right place to strike home a great shot from a corner.

Player of the match was well deserved by Liz for a dominant display in midfield which was capped off by two goals.
