SOUTHWEST housebuilder Summerfield Homes has been ‘warming up’ the Watchet Town Football Club by providing funding to kit out the club’s first team players with smart, brand new red jumpers.
As a proud sponsor of the club, known as Red & Blacks, Summerfield Homes is honoured to support the team with their new jumpers in time for a run of home fixtures during February.
Summerfield Homes is local to the club with its new development at Liddymore Park, Watchet. This popular development offers peaceful rural living with the advantage of modern amenities. Work has now commenced on the next phase, which will consist of open market and affordable properties, with a range of two, three and four-bedroom houses and bungalows.
Watchet Town Football Club are playing in the Premier Division of the Uhlsport Somerset County Football League and is one of the oldest football clubs in Somerset with pitches on the war memorial ground high above the sea which is a two-minute drive from Liddymore Park.
Presenting the jumpers to Watchet Town Football Club, Summerfield Homes Sales and Marketing Director Philip Morgan said Summerfield had watched the club’s progress with interest and was backing the team with pride as a sponsor.
“We hope the new kit in the club colours will bring the team further success. We have been grateful for the way the community has taken us to its heart and we are pleased to be building homes for the next generation of players and supporters,” said Philip.
