PORLOCK Ladies have a crucial away match against Combe St Nicholas in Division Three South of the Somerset Women’s Football League this coming Sunday.
Combe are lying second in the table, having lost only one match all season, but trail leaders Staplegrove by ten points. However, the Taunton side have played two more games than Combe.
Porlock are having a good season and are third in the table, three points adrift of Combe but have two matches in hand.
The only other game in the division on Sunday involves bottom side Wellington Ladies who entertain Crewkerne who are only one place above them.
Meanwhile, Wellington Wildcats play at home to Frome Town in the League KO Cup. Wildcats are fourth in Division One South while Frome are one place behind their rivals, three points adrift with two games in hand.
Wells City top the table and they also have a cup tie - at home to Bridport Ladies.
Other cup ties are: Banwell Ladies v Nailsea United, Bishops Lydeard Reserves v Worle Rangers, Portishead Reserves v Ilminster Town Reserves.
The only fixture being played in Division One South is between Paulton Rovers Reserves and Middlezoy Ladies.
