MINEHEAD and West Somerset Golf Club Seniorshosted Tickenham in the Seniors Somerset Bowl on Monday, managing a 5-0 win.

The midweek Seniors Bogie competition proved challenging for many. The winner, Dave Oatridge, scored +2 and was the only player to score better than par. Trevor Stephens took second place with 0, ahead on count back of Graham Stone who also carded a very creditable score of 0.

On Friday Round Three of the Seniors Marshall Cup was played where Tony Connolly continued his excellent form to win this latest round with a nett 67. Nigel Moore took second place with a 68. Graham Smith carded 70 to come third.
