MINEHEAD Barbarians will be looking for back to back victories when they play away to Chew Valley 2nd XV in Counties Two Somerset this coming weekend.
Having been beaten 31-23 away by Nailsea & Backwell on the opening day of the season, Minehead bounced back to beat Oldfield Old Boys 43-15 at home last weekend.
“Chew Valley will be a difficult side to beat - they always are,” said Minehead’s head coach Mick Orton earlier this week. ”I was pleased with the way we approached the game against Oldfield. Both sides wanted to play open rugby.”
Babas full back Charlie Gunter is doubtful with a knee injury.

Meanwhile, Wiveliscombe will be aiming to maintain their 100 per start to the season when they play at home to Barnstaple 2nd XV in Counties Western West.
Having beaten Penryn and Pirates Amateurs in their opening two games, Wiveliscombe will be looking for a hat-trick of victories. It is a big difference than last season when they struggled before Christmas and were bottom of the table.
