WATCHET Town and Minehead both have home matches in the Uhlsport Somerset County Football League this coming weekend (Sat, Oct 26, 3p.m. kick-offs).
Watchet, who play bottom of the Premier Division Uphill Castle, will be without goalkeeper Vinnie Jones and defender Charlie Clausen, who are unavailable, while Brendan Walsh and Chris Sully are injured.
Watchet beat lowly Timsbury 2-1, only their second league win of the season, at home lastSaturday, and Nick Sully, a member of the club's management team, said: "It would be another important three points for us if we could beat Uphill. And I'm not fooled by the fact they are holding up the table. It is very tight at the bottom."
Watchet, promoted at the end of last season, are currently lying 12th in the division.
Meanwhile, Minehead go into their game against Nailsea & Tickenham Reserves lying fourth in the first division, having dropped only three points all season. They have games in hand on the three teams above them.
