PHILIP Hobbs and Johnson White, who train at Sandhill Racing Stables at Bilbrook, enjoyed two very good days, chalking up a double at Warwick on Wednesday which they followed up with another winner at Warwick and a second place at Wincanton on Thursday.

The first winner for the West Somerset based yard was Solar System ridden by Callum Pritchard in a Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle over two miles three furlongs who went off at 15-8.

This was followed a little later in the day by Paddy in the Caddy who won a two mile chase under Sean Houlihan after going off at 7-2.

On Thursday the Sandhill Racing Stable enjoyed further success at Warwick when Ben Jones rode Georgi Girls to victory in the Mares Handicap Hurdle race over two miles five, going off at 11-4.

Meanwhile, nearer to home, Sassified rounded off a good couple of days for the yard when Callum Pritchard rode him to second place in the Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle over two miles four.

This brings the dynamic duo’s tally to 13 for the season to date but with the new campaign only really just getting underway there’s a strong likelihood they will be celebrating more winners in the very near future.
